TM model is grp 31. It's huge.
I've had 3 PQ 100ah in series for my Garmin troller since Oct 2023. They've been flawless so far and have power for days.Pros:-Great looking, professional, clean casing.-Terminals well marked with red and black ring around female M8 threaded lug.-Terminal bolts have a flat and a lock washer AND phillips head incorporated into the hex head which is wonderful.-Includes plastic caps to cover terminal bolt heads to prevent accidental shorts.-The company will message you after your purchase to make sure everything is good. Then a few months later to make sure it's still good. This is a rare thing in retail and quite amazing.-Comes with professional paperwork, startup guide, and a sheet of PQ stickers in a nice resealable bag.-Battery is packaged extremely well.-Carrying strap is easily removable.-Amazing valueCons- Not a real con, but they should make all of these batteries as compact as possible and stop wasting materials and space.
Replacement for Travel Trailer to use with Inventer
I plan to update this review once I have had a chance to try the new system out while boon-docking, that is the reason for the rating on battery life and Longevity. At this point I have no reason to believe they are any better or worse then the manufactures claims.I bought 3 of the 100Ah Batteries as a replacement for my Travel Trailer batteries. The old 2 100Ah batteries were lead acid and they worked with a 2000 Watt inverter that I had installed. Due to a lack of low temp charging protection and the idea of theft I have moved these batteries into the front compartment. As space saving measurement I welded an aluminum cage and painted it black to hold all the batteries in a side by side vertical configuration. . These battery take up a lot less room once installed on their side standing up. This is a major advantage over lead acid (a lot more flexibility in installation options for small spaces.). I wired the 3 batteries in parallel to create a 300Ah 12v battery pack using 2/0 welding wire which should handle the 200 AMP's I have rated the system for. I then ran the wire to the roof the of the compartment and secured them with conduit straps (2/0 wire is pretty thick). From there I ran the wires over to a custom board I have mounted a positive and neutral 250 AMP buses bars. With a RV battery disconnect, a battery shunt and a 200 AMP breaker.I am really excited to go boon docking in 2 months and try this system out. I also plan in the mean time if I can make it work to hook up a battery Capacity tester to check out the actual battery pack capacity under a load. I will update once done.
Love it! Light weight, long runs on the water and barely used 20% battery, over 100ah at full charge, super easy to use, and feels durable. BTW, upon arrival battery will be in sleep mode for protection, so you will need a low voltage charger to wake it up before using the recommended 20a charger.
Im so darn happy with these batts 2 /12.8v 100amp I charged them slow & low for 24hr then pared them using my jumper cables over night, set them right 1st time b 4 use & give yourself full benefit of long & strong batts! Also respect for the 1st cycles, I used only solar & not more then -30% for several charges. Then went (on) grid for a few more charges b 4 letting them go to about 35% floor discharges. I believe like ALL tools, equipment, machines should b broke in careful. This will almost always hold u in good stead. THESE BATTERIES ARE PHENOMENAL! Hold well, charge beautifully, amazing weight, well made housing & good bms internals (check youtube for tear down video) WHAT SAVINGS OVER BATTLEBORN! I HAVE 2 GREAT BATTS FOR PRICE LESS THAN ((1)) BB! Say goodnight gracie.. g n g THANK YOU PQ!
Looks great. Hit the power switch on the foot pedal and the blade spins after putting a full charge on the battery. Will update once tested. 5 stars so far and will look to get two more for a 24v system on my bigger boat if this goes well on the 14 foot jon boat.
Lighter than AGM, lasted all day, and will more than likely buy again.
Decided to start upgrading batteries this year. Started with my 12’ aluminum boat battery. Decided to go with this brand after much research.Wife and I planned on going fishing. Found out our son obliterated the pull start on the Johnson 8hp outboard. Had everything ready and decided to still take the boat out, but use the trolling motor only. This battery is super legit. I plan on buying the charger for it eventually, and maybe upgrading the battery in the travel trailer. Currently using som harbor freight panels, charge controller, and homemade leads to charge. Takes about 1.5-2 days with a 200 watt panel from Harbor Freight. We do a lot of camping/fishing, so another review to come.Trolling with a Minnekota 30lb thrust 12v trolling motor we trolled/full throttle for 7 hours. I packed extra batteries, but they were not needed at all. Pleased with my purchase, and cannot wait to try the rapid charger and a larger battery size option for my travel trailer house battery.
I have this battery connected to an auto switching inverter/charger connected to my basement sump pump. I have not ran a runtime test on the sump pump yet but will in the near future when I have a good rain storm. This battery did run my sump pump (450 watt) for nearly 4 hours during a power outage, where the pump was running forabout 2 minutes every 15 minutes. Battery voltage dropped very little. The battery came very well packaged and the company sent me a notice when it shipped and contact information should I have questions. I am working on a solar system build for my house and will probably use PowerQueen batteries. So far I am impressed.
I bought two of the 12.8v 100ah to run in series for my 24v trolling motor,,I have used them a few times so far. I used spot lock one day in 15 to 20 mph winds crappie fishing, when I got home and voltage checked them they were still at 13.30v which is still about 90%,,thats awesome,,just hope they last a long time.
Easy to install. Make sure your charger is capable of 14.6 volts to fully charge this battery. Built in BMS takes care of the battery management. Great value. Fits perfectly. Charges fast. Performance is equivalent of 2 lead accod batteries.
This review is for both the 12.8 volt 200 AH Plus LiFePO4 and the 12.8 volt 410 AH LiFePO4 batteries. Two years ago I bought the 12.8 volt 200 AH Plus LiFePO4 battery, and have heavily used this battery with zero issues. That battery was only 40 lbs, and it replaced two very heavy 6 volt Trojan batteries. Lead acid batteries are heavy, need water added, and the gas from charging corrodes terminals and is very explosive hydrogen gas. Lithium eliminates all of that. We live in our 5th wheel RV full time. We use a 600 watt solar array on the roof to keep the 12 volt system charged, leaving the "house" 12 volt converter/charger off. That 12 volt charger uses quite a bit of 120 volt current, since we pay for our electricity from the meter, using the solar array helps on the electric bill. This set up really shines while out boondocking. It is a self built hybrid system. There is an added 120 volt receptacle in our kitchen wired to a 2200 watt inverter. We use this solar provided power daily for grinding and making coffee, and also for the toaster. There is also a 500 watt inverter that runs our TV and the cellular internet gizmo. I like the fact that we can leave the TV on all day without cost. Plus of course the 12 volt lights, furnace and fans. While it is possible, we do not run the A/C from the solar array. We use 120 volt shore power for our A/C, refrigerator and hot water heater use. The Power Queen 200 AH battery has performed flawlessly these last two years of constant use. I had a fuse issue while we were away from the RV for a period of time 2 months ago, a fuse blew, turning off the array. The battery was stone dead, but recovered without issue with my solar charger once the fuse was replaced. In the last year battery prices have gone down quite a bit, so this last January 2025 I bought the 12.8 volt 410 AH LiFePO4 as an upgrade to my system. As with the first battery I bought from Power Queen, the delivery was fast with next day service. It is the size of an 8D battery and weighs an amazing 80 lbs. It is well strapped down and secure. I cannot comment on support service from Power Queen as both batteries have been issue free. But both times I bought a battery from Power Queen, I received an email, a sort of checking in to make sure I received the battery and please let us know if you have an issue. I even got a phone call on my first battery purchase, while appreciated, I do not speak Chinese and the English was nil. Reviews are important for my buying decisions, and the reviews reported for Power Queen lithium batteries were instrumental in my purchase. I would buy another battery from Power Queen without hesitation.
We live in a hurricane prone area. Last 4 seasons we have had 4 Hurricane Warnings. No direct hits yet but some close ones. When the power goes out for days I need something to power my CPAP machine. Few do with the watt hungry heated humidifier. This one does and it doesn't break the bank like a Jackery 1000 or similar. CPAP batteries just don't have enough power. They won't even get you through 1 night with the humidifier and they cost more than this lithium Iron Phosphate battery. I can even use this to power my Starlink Mini for internet access. Do yourself a favor and get one if you have ever had the power go out-that's most of you.
Their support was amazing, letting me know it was on the way and when to expect it. They responded to questions immediately, as I wasn’t sure what box it should fit inside for our travel trailer. I ditched the two lead acid batteries and simplified with this one. I also ordered the NOCO 4D battery box from Amazon. Using the packaging from the Power Queen, it fit perfectly inside and secures any side to side motion. I cut the middle of the top packaging to secure it further. Really cleans things up! I configured the MPPT to charge to Lithium and good to go.
We purchased these as a replacement of a single lead acid battery for our new RV Trailer and connected via a parallel connection. Was a very easy install and they work great and far lighter and more charge available than what came with the trailer. Would also have to say the customer service by far is the best of any purchase we have made. They validated we received the batteries along with answering any questions along with verifying the settings we had in our solar connector app. Highly recommend!!! 👍😁
Smaller but powerful, can be placed in NV Battery box w another 20 amp battery
Man, did I score with this one? Yes, absolutely. I have a Perception Outlaw 11.5 fishing kayak. Space is limited, So I had to choose carefully on my power setup. I really wanted to have more battery than I needed, but I was afraid that that was going to be impossible. That is, until I found this Power Queen Premium II 100 amp battery to go into the Newport vessels battery box with the other battery shown. It's a tight fit, but with the Goldenmate 20 amp Lifepo4, it's a winner. This gives me one nice compact package for the back of the boat that will run my trolling motor all day long, and it will also run my depth finder, lights, phone charger, GoPro, and anything else for a whole day of fishing. What a package! I fish Lake Conroe in Texas.
I bought 1 battery about 2 months ago I had to buy another one great battery , I run refrigerator freezer My washer My TV entertainment center Works great.
Tested down to -13 F Fahrenheit BMS worked flawless. A little heavy but worth it.
Ran everything in our travel trailer but the microwave and AC. 15 full day off grid with only 1 200 watt solar panel to maintain during the day. Tank heaters RV furnace at night (12 DC blower with propane for heat)also 2 small 300 watt electric heaters. DID NOT BREAK A SWEAT! BEST BATTERY EVER! LONG LIFE WILL KEEP YOU BOONDOCKING FOR YEARS TO COME.
For four months now we have used this little battery each Saturday to power a Minn Kota 55 pound thrust trolling motor all day. We put 5 people and all of their stuff in a 12 foot heavy glass skiff to troll non stop for trout. Then when I get home and put it on the charger there is still plenty of juice in the battery, so much I think we could nave went out a second day without charging,
I bought these batteries to install in a van for a friend. Three - 200amp hour batteries. They were shipped quickly and tracking was provided. All three batteries had the same voltage after unwrapping which means I didn't have to equalize them prior to installation. They have been installed for about a month and work great. When I contacted customer support to determine the correct settings for the charge controller, they provided prompt response (within a day). We also installed the ability to charge these batteries from the vehicle's battery/alternator. They suggested a DC to DC converter - I found one and asked them if it were good - they said yes. Again - all customer support responses have been incredibly fast and accurate. As to LONGEVITITY of the batteries - that is up to time to tell. But for now, they are FIVE PLUS stars!
I wanted to make my solar generator equipment portable and organized. The Power Queen minis fit perfectly in it. My 24v was too big but the two 12 v 100a minis fit perfectly. I tested with a room ac and heat gun both running at the same time for 15 minutes. No problems. The batteries kept going!
So I have hooked this battery up to my “in progress” van build. I can only say that the seller is very prompt and communicates well, and the battery takes and holds a charge! I cannot say much else as I have barely used it, but it is working. I’m hopeful that it and I will have a long happy association.
A very good dependable product at a great fair price
The customer service department checked in with me to make sure the product was delivered on time and in perfect condition. The product was well packaged and arrived in perfect condition. The user manual is exceptional and very informative. The unit works as advertised.
I love this battery so much I bought a second one. Capacity test delivered 212AH!!! I use this in my new RV that has 600w Solar and 2000W inverter. Highly recommend!
So started with 2 then 3 and eventually decided I liked these baterrries so much and got confirmation from their CS that you can wire more than. 4 batteries in parallel. So long as you ensure to follow the strict rule of ensuring their charged up before installing.well I love these so much it forced me to upgrade the cheap CCA wiring to pure copper 4/0 awg wiring to ensure I get the most out of these batteriesokay they don't have cold temp cut off for charging so be careful. however in my case all my devices have temp cut off so placed temperature sensors on the batteries to ensure safety. Also I've in New England area and if you have at least 4 and their together and in a closed compartment and used regularly pulling 1500watts constantly. they won't drop below 40F even under 0F Temps. In my case they also got help from. being in the same compartment where 2 dc to dc charger are, 60amp solar charger and a 3000 pure sine inverter charger resides. all put out enough heat to keep that compartment nice and toasty during winter.during sumer I have intake and exhaust fans to keep the bay cool. All in all love these batteries and their customer support is amazing.
I have 3 ea. 200 Ahr. lithium batteries in my RV. These batteries have unbelievable power. I can run a 1500 W hair dryer for 10 minutes and it will not lower the voltage at all. I have boondock for 5 days and never had to charge the batteries. I was skeptical at first for the low price, but I'm glad I bought them. Great service as well. You just need to be sure to turn off charging if the temp gets below 32 degrees.
It’s a well-known fact among Waterfowl Hunters, if you what to test the durability of something, take it duck hunting once. If you want to destroy it permanently take it twice. Your product survived two seasons and surpassed my expectations to say the least. In November of 2022, I purchased a Power Queen 50ah battery. I bought it because it had generally positive reviews and it was within my modest budget at the time. When it arrived, I had no idea of the value of what I had just purchased. I specifically purchased the battery to power a trolling motor on a light kayak used for duck hunting. Please allow me to give you a brief rundown of what this battery has been subjected to:1. This battery has been completely submerged in water for hours on end.2. It has been well used for two entire ice-cold duck seasons in the backwaters of Michigan.3. It has survived hundreds of miles of being bounced around in the back of a truck bed as we drove down poorly maintained dirt roads.4. It powered a 50# thrust trolling motor as we explored miles of weed and grass choked pond and rivers.5. It has recovered a boat that was sunken and completely submerged in 5ft of water. (Fun Fact: An electric winch will work under water when connected to your battery.)To top all of this off, on the last day of the season of 2023-2024, I was driving on my way home when a fellow driver caught my attention to let me know something was wrong with the boat I was pulling on a trailer. After I pulled over, I couldn’t immediately find anything wrong with the boat or trailer. Then I stepped around the passenger side and there it was. My 50ah battery had fallen out of the boat and was being dragged down the road by the cable connections. It looked bad to say the least. The electrical connections were destroyed and the few strands of wiring from the positive terminal were the only thing holding on to the battery. To say I was upset would be an understatement of a lifetime. There was nothing I could do except to collect my battery and finish my trip home. After I got home, I put everything away and made a plan to take the battery to the recycler.Last night, in my shop, I walked past the battery and gave it a good look. It was battered and covered in road rash but on closer observation it looked mostly intact. I decided to try to plug it in to the charger and see what happened. To my absolute surprise, it was still working! A quick check with multimeter confirmed it! It was still working just as well as it did the day I bought it.The case has been compromised and this particular battery will probably not be used on the water again but it will be replace with a Power Queen for sure. I’m impressed with the durability and construction of this battery. It has taken more abuse than it was made for and it just keeps working.
I ordered this to use with my astrophotography rig. So far the only thing I have ran with it is the mount as I have a 120v supply for the rest of the equipment and my recent capturing has been around power. The battery, when placed on to use with the EQ35-Pro mount sits around 13.7v when turned on. After over 8 hours of use on the mount, it has only dropped to 13.2v. The battery arrived very quickly and was WELL packaged, unlike another battery I had purchased and had to get a refund for as it was damaged by a small "crunch" apparently on a corner since it was not packed well. So far, I've been very pleased with it. It's MUCH lighter than the 36Ah AGM battery I was using. The real test will be when I have to use it to power the entire rig (EQ-35 Pro, ASI533mm Pro camera with filter wheel, ASI290mm guide camera, RPi running Stellarmate and an ASI EAF. The nice thing, I do have a generator that I take out in the field with me (Westinghouse iGen2500) when it's cooler out and I can set up my tent with a heater in it to monitor the captures. It remains to be seen how long this lasts, but so far, I do have to admit I have been impressed for the price.
Can Power Queen LiFePO₄ batteries be used to charge a portable power station?
No, we do not recommend using Power Queen batteries to charge portable power stations such as EcoFlow or Bluetti. This may lead to over-discharge, triggering the battery’s protection mode and causing it to remain in a low-voltage state that cannot be reactivated.
