The screen is definitely not sealed up. I would recommend another unit if you plan on using this on a boat where there is always moisture.

I love the unit (Monitor and shunt), it functions perfectly and is as easy as it get to install. The 20 foot cable lets you put it where you want.
That being said, be advised that the Monitor is NOT water resistant, much less waterproof. I had to devise a work around since this is on my bass boat and not in a cabin. It involved a waterproof enclosure and some re-engineering for my application. My only complaint is that this fact is not mentioned on the web site. Other than that that unit works perfectly. Just FYI.

This battery monitor is a must. The Shunt Trip is a must to prevent any damage to the electrical components. I highly suggest asking for Power Queens wiring diagram.

they work great ,easy to install. 1 came damaged in shipping and in a week had a replacement Very happy with the product and the service.

I have not installed the battery monitor and shunt yet. I am waiting for a set of bus bars and working out the schematics of adding it to my system. My space allowance is somewhat confined,so it will take me some time to make a clean installation.

The monitor is a Great addition to
keep up on state of charge or remaining power its easy to install. I adapted a old pencil box and mounted on the battery with nylon straps so it's portable. I went out in river 4 times about 5 hours each and my 100ah powerqueen battery was at 54% WOW! I'm used comming in with a dead battery and need to charge after each trip.
I give it a must must have.. so you don't needlessly charge and recharge

Works all right. I don't see how to mount the monitor. I'm lost to understand what the readings are or how to change them.
When I started using it the maximum battery voltage reading was 14.4. After exploring the various settings and not being able to change any of them the maximum battery voltage only goes to 13.8.
