What's the dimension of group 24 battery?
The Group 24 battery, a standard model, measures 10.5″L x 6.1875″W x 8.875″H and is commonly used in vehicles, backup power systems, and medical equipment. These batteries are often employed as deep cycle batteries rather than for engine starting purposes.
What to do when receive the battery?
Please keep in mind that owing to transit and storage, your battery may have a low State of Charge (SOC) when it arrives. To avoid over-discharge, we recommend charging the battery immediately using an AC-DC lithium battery charger or an MPPT solar charge controller.
If you plan to store the battery for an extended period of time, we recommend charging it to a state of charge (SOC) of 30% to 50% and doing maintenance every three months. These procedures will help to maintain its functioning and performance in the long run.
How many batteries can I connect in series or parallel?
The 12V lithium battery from Power Queen allows for a maximum of 4 batteries to be connected in series and 4 in parallel, enabling you to create a battery system with up to 16 units. This configuration offers a maximum capacity of 20.48 kWh and a maximum cont. output power of 1280 W.
Note: When connecting batteries in series or parallel, ensure they meet the following conditions:
a. They must be identical, with the same battery capacity (Ah) and BMS (A).
b. They should be from the same brand, as lithium batteries from different brands have unique BMS systems.
c. They should be purchased within a short time frame (within one month).
Can I use Power Queen LiFePO4 Lithium batteries as starting batteries?
No, Power Queen LiFePO4 lithium batteries are designed for energy storage, not for starting devices. Therefore, please do not use them to start any equipment.
