        FAQ

Q: Can I connect the battery in series or parallel?

        A:

Power Queen 65Ah lithium batteries can be used in both series and parallel, making them perfect for 24V electric wheelchairs and mobility scooters. They support combinations of up to four batteries in parallel and four batteries in series (max 4P4S), resulting in a 51.2V 260Ah battery system with 13.3 kWh of energy and a maximum load power of 13.3kW. In addition to being ideal for daily usage in electric wheelchairs and mobility scooters, these batteries are also suitable for solar energy storage systems, campers, backup power, trolling motors (20-70lb), and a variety of farm equipment applications.

Q: What should I consider before proceeding with the installation?

        A:

        1. Pay attention to the battery's dimensions. The size should be appropriate for the original lead-acid battery housing.

        2. If the size matches (Group 22NF), you can use the vehicle's original battery mounting components for installation.

        3. Confirm that the charger is compatible with lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries. If not, it should be replaced with a LiFePO4 charger.

Q: What should I do when I receive the battery?

        A:

Please keep in mind that owing to transit and storage, your battery may have a low State of Charge (SOC) when it arrives. To avoid over-discharge, we recommend charging the battery promptly.

Bluetooth batteries may come in an off condition, with a virtual voltage of 3V-5V across the terminals. This is typical and may be fixed by charging the battery for 3-10 seconds with an AC-DC lithium battery charger or an MPPT solar charge controller, allowing it to be used normally.

If you intend to store the battery for an extended period of time, charge it to a state of charge (SOC) of 30% to 50% and maintain it every three months. This will help to maintain its functioning and performance over time.

Q: What are the benefits of upgrading to lithium wheelchair mobility scooter battery?

        A:

Lithium batteries are lighter, lowering the overall weight of electric vehicles while enhancing energy efficiency and acceleration performance. Supports 4P4S, which meets the requirements for long-range mileage.

The BMS features a self-recovery protection function, which means that once protection is triggered, there is no need to disconnect and reconnect the load, making it easier to use.

It contains a low-temperature protection mechanism that stops charging at 0°C, resumes charging at 5°C, and prevents discharge at -20°C.

With certifications and test reports: UL-2271, FCC, CE, ROHS, and UN38.3. This lithium battery meets worldwide safety, environmental, and performance standards, providing customers with dependable and safe power for a variety of applications.

Q: Can this battery replace my old lead-acid battery?

        A:

The 12V 65Ah battery is designed to accommodate the majority of electric wheelchairs and mobility scooters currently on the market. Its Group 22NF size allows for a direct plug-and-play replacement for the original lead-acid battery pack.

If you encounter any problems during the replacement process, we recommend reviewing your wheelchair's user manual and contacting a professional technician. For more assistance, please contact us at service@ipowerqueen.com.

Furthermore, please dispose of the old batteries responsibly, in accordance with local rules and environmental requirements.

Q: Are Power Queen LiFePO4 Lithium batteries safe?

        A:

Yes, LiFePO4 (Lithium Iron Phosphate) is one of the safest and most stable forms of lithium batteries available today. Power Queen lithium cells are UL certified, ensuring the greatest levels of safety and sustainability. Each Power Queen LiFePO4 battery contains an inbuilt Battery Management System (BMS) that provides full protection against a variety of dangers. These include under-voltage during discharge, over-voltage while charging, over-current during discharge, over-temperature during both charging and discharging, and short-circuit events, which ensure the battery cells are not harmed. Furthermore, Power Queen LiFePO4 batteries have been carefully tested and proven to be free of fire and electric shock concerns, even in harsh conditions.
