Power Queen 2000W Inverter 12V DC to 110V-120V AC Converter with 2 AC Outlets

I have two nearly identical Power Queen systems... one with a 40A charger and one with a 20A charger. The 20A charger is quieter than the 40A but the 40A fan turns off, while the 20A fan runs continuously and sounds a bit like water flowing in a pipe. I record and the 20A is less audible to my equipment and provides a low level noise floor that dampens external noise such as passing cars or clock ticking. I tend to record digitally on a laptop PC using analog plugins. Analog plugins typically present some low level noise inherently, so the 20A charger will actually just add to that noise floor. Note: Sometimes the noise floor adds interesting harmonic effects. If the 20A fan noise causes a problem, I can simply turn off all chargers. I definitely will turn off the 40A charger, because it's fan noise level is inconsistent. The 20A system runs my RV/studio/bedroom propane furnace (6A @ 12VDC), two monitor speakers, a Wi-Fi extender, two 20" vent/circulation fans during cooling, (circulation fan only during heating). It also runs a Robertshaw MSC-1502 controller and RIB relays for two stages of heat, 1 circulation fan, 1 vent fan. Note: The RIB switching must be isolated from the sound recording equipment due to EMI (switching). The 40A system is dedicated to the music recording PC, mixer, TC-Helicon effects box (Live Acoustic), UA Volt 476 or Volt476P interface. This system also serves live performance needs. I trust the monitor speakers on one inverter won't create a problem for the recording equipment on the other inverter, because the TRS (Tip+, Ring-, Sleeve (shield/ground)) cables between the mixer and speakers will provide a common reference ground through the sleeve. Everything looks good, but I haven't had time to set it up.

I first reviewed this item on 12/6/2023 and would like to update. The unit has been working fantastically well for the past month. This item was purchased with the idea of switching it out with an all in one unit temp power supply. The later blew the controller after 5 hrs of operation making it the third time. That builder/supplier doesn't want to fix it again or switch it out under the lemon laws. I have this inverter running the same piece of equipment without any issues. This inverter is a power horse that works as promised.

I have only received the product 48 hrs ago and was a replacement for the unit I first received. Both products were delivered in a hap hazard packaging display box. First unit did not come with paperwork and cables. The second product came in a battered up box with holes punched in the side and one corner ripped apart. The first unit gave out a "pop" sound with acrid smell coming out the back vent. The second unit has been no problem and for now appears to be performing as promised.

Excellent product, quiet and doesn't seem to strain against power loads.
